CGA data shows that 84% of consumers plan to go out as much or more than in early 2024, with young adults aged 21 to 34 leading the pack in frequenting local venues.
Regarding preferences, spirits remain the most popular choice at 46%, followed by beer at 39% of spending in establishments. Wine follows at 13%, increasingly appreciated by consumers as a favorite alternative.

Imports of wine from Italy, New Zealand, and Spain have increased both in consumption volume and value, while domestic wine holds a two-thirds share of the market.
